REST IN PEACE RUSLANA

I cant really find the words to describe this tragic event... I did not know her well, but it was obvious to anyone around her that Ruslana Korshunova was a sweet, special, beautiful young girl with a bright future ahead of her... She was really so striking you couldn't help but notice her... The news of her death comes as a huge shock... You will be missed Ruslana... Peace and Love to you and your family...

GIVE IT UP FOR TOKYO

TOKYO was the best.... Seriously everything was dope... Style, tradition and history, food, culture, the people... Here are some highlights... I have some videos so I'll try to figure out how to get those up here...
ASAKUSA where you can see the old temples and things...

Mr Mushy, Myumi with her feature in Japanese Vogue (she went around Paris in a Hello Kitty costume!), Gene Krell (our gracious host) and Kiori in Kamakura, me eating sushi at the Tsukiji fish market... you have to go there.

Tokyo is busy and has lots of NEON
Funny smoker signs....

Tokyo smokes weed...

TSUKIJI!! The best sushi you will have in your life... Next time I will go at 5am so I can watch the fish auction where they sell the fish to all the restaurants and markets all over the world... You can eat at one of the restaurants in the market... Wait in the line at the good one... Its worth it... Just don't try the sea urchin. Trust me. Everything else = Perfect. Careful not to be run over by these guys driving their carts like maniacs all over the place... Lots of traffic in Tsukiji...
Rad traditional style...
Completely opposite bikes... This picture is an example of how Tokyo can be so modern yet so traditional at the same time... Its a very interesting juxtaposition. The technology is so advanced but the culture keeps some aspects of the city very innocent and old fashioned.

This is COCO. No doubt, the cutest dog I've ever seen.

Moral of the story... GO TO TOKYO. Save your money so you can buy tons of stuff and definitely check out the photo booths and cream croquettes and the Tokyo Food Show and 109. Its my favorite place I've ever travelled to and I think it will be yours too... Arrigato to everyone at Japanese Vogue for making this trip possible! Sayonara!
